(To the best of my knowledge)

Dorleac estimates that 30 Cylon costumes at $3,500 each were made at the time. They were vacuformed and 3m chrome tape was used to attach pieces together.

There are a variations in the helmets. One is the mouth piece. There were vacuformed ones and others were metal to be used as a heat sink to cool down the electronics. There seems to be to different colors too. The heroes are a dark gun metal and back ground ones a lighter gray.

There were able to see a few different ways. There the little pin holes above the eye borrows.

Also the stunt helmet had a different eye piece with no scanning lights and they saw out the slit. Hero

helmet could see threw a piece chrome mylar above the eye.

I just took a Knight Rider light they sell at jcwhitneys.com for $35 and made that work. See picture on the left.

The cylon eye has 33 lights. The first one lights and then the second one lights and finally the third one lights. As the fourth one powers up the first one fades out. As the fifth one powers up the second one fades out. This gives an animated trailing effect.

I've started to work on the Vinyl parts on the Cylon. I can’t find anything to match the texture and color of the originals. So I came up with vacufroming them. So far they are coming out great.

This is the belt that they wore. Its a camera mans belt. And it was used to power the scanning lights.

Still working on the undersuit. I sent my fabric off to be custom dyed.and it looks great. I have some extra fabric to sell but its very expensive.

The gloves are called "Armadillo Thumbs" made by Cooper. There are a common find on Ebay. And the boots are Georgia Linesmen.
